Chilli Sin Carne

This is a great vegetable chilli recipe, I serve it with 250g of rice with turmeric, use other vegetables e.g. peppers.

The chilli could be stuffed into peppers, and baked until the peppers are tender or use the chilli as a jacket potato filling.

  1. Fry the veg until soft including the garlic.
  2. Add the tomatoes, beans tomato puree, chilli flakes, cumin and mixed herbs.
    • HOB: Add the tomatoes, beans, tomato puree, chilli flakes, cumin, mixed herbs, stock and cook for 30 minutes, or until the flavours blend and sauce thickens.
    • SLOW COOKER: Add the tomatoes, beans, tomato puree, chilli flakes, cumin, mixed herbs, stock to the slow cooker and cook for 2 hours on high, or until the flavours blend and sauce thickens.
