Peanut Butter and Banana Toastie
This is another of my breakfast alternatives.
Ingredients
- Two slces of bread
- One banana, peeled and thinly sliced
- Enough peanut butter to cover the two slices of bread
- Olive oil or similar(optional)
- Ground cinnamon(optional)
Instructions
- Spread one side of each of the slices of bread with the peanut butter.
- Top one of the slices with the sliced banana, and sprinkle with cinnamon, if using.
- Close the sandwich with the other slice of bread.
- Brush the sandwich with a little oil if using.
- Heat a nonstick frying pan over medium setting.
- Add sandwich and cook until bread is golden and peanut butter is warm, about 2 minutes, when you start making this recipe, you may wish to flip regularly.
- Cook the other side of the sandwich until the bread is golden and peanut butter is warm, about another 2 minutes or less.
